Original abstract

Dear Editor of the International Journal of Science and Environment (IJSE), We are pleased to submit our manuscript entitled "Design of an MPPT Monitoring System for a Solar Power Plant Based on the Internet of Things Using ESP32 and ThingSpeak" for consideration in your esteemed journal. This study presents an IoT-based telemetry system using the ESP32 microcontroller and ThingSpeak cloud platform to monitor electrical parameters of a photovoltaic system equipped with an EPever MPPT controller via RS485-based Modbus RTU communication. Operational testing confirmed the system's ability to reliably capture real-time parameter dynamics, with a peak input voltage of 18.35 V and stable discharge parameters, demonstrating its viability as a low-cost and scalable PV monitoring solution. The novelty lies in integrating industrial Modbus RTU communication with a low-cost microcontroller and cloud-based visualization, offering practical insights for engineers and researchers in solar energy system management.
