Original abstract

The rapid development of renewable energy technologies has increased the use of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems worldwide. However, the accumulation of dust, sand, bird droppings, and other contaminants on solar panel surfaces significantly reduces their efficiency and power output. Traditional cleaning methods often require considerable water resources, labor, and maintenance costs. This paper presents the design and analysis of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based solar panel cleaning device model. The proposed system integrates sensors, microcontrollers, wireless communication technologies, and automated cleaning mechanisms to monitor panel conditions and perform cleaning operations when necessary. The model aims to improve energy generation efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and support sustainable energy management. The study discusses the architecture, operational principles, advantages, and future development prospects of IoT-based solar panel cleaning systems.
