Original abstract

A representative example is the reconstruction of Emil Belluš Secondary Vocational School in Slovakia (2017Slovakia ( -2018) [9]) [9], where a comprehensive package of thermal modernization measures was implemented, including the installation of heat recovery systems, solar thermal and photovoltaic systems, as well as automated control of ventilation and lighting.Conclusions.The conducted analysis of contemporary school reconstruction projects made it possible to identify the main directions of transformation of the educational environment in the twenty-first century.These include the formation of open communicative spaces, the integration of educational and recreational functions, the active implementation of nature-integrated solutions, the vertical development of school complexes, the adaptive reuse of existing buildings, and comprehensive energyefficient modernization.These trends indicate a gradual transition from the traditional model of the school building to a multifunctional educational environment oriented toward students' needs, the flexibility of the educational process, environmental responsibility, and the efficient use of available resources.Of particular importance is the integration of architectural, pedagogical, social, and environmental approaches, which defines the main directions of school reconstruction development in the coming decades.
