Original abstract
This paper argues against the claim that carbon-based energy is responsible for the rapid growth in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration. It is shown that changes in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are likely a consequence, rather than a cause, of climate warning. A comparative assessment is made of the impacts of carbon, hydrogen, solar and wind energy on the Earth’s thermal regime. The magnitudes of atmospheric thermal pollution resulting from the use of different energy sources are evaluated. It is noted that, when properly managed, carbon-based energy results in a smaller increase in atmospheric temperature compared to the other energy types considered. The paper substantiates the absence, at present, of an equal alternative to carbon-based energy.
