Original abstract
This paper presents the design, implementation, and performance evaluation of a microcontroller-based dual-axis solar tracking system developed to improve photovoltaic energy harvesting. The system uses light-dependent resistors (LDRs), servo motors, and an Arduino-based controller to continuously align a solar panel with the sun's position. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed tracker achieves higher voltage, current, and power output than a conventional fixed solar panel, highlighting its effectiveness in enhancing solar energy conversion efficiency for renewable energy applications
