Original abstract
Self-assembly is an organization process for disordered components that involves certain interactions, such as hydrophobic interaction, magnetic interaction, electrostatic interaction, and intermolecular forces. The constituting units of this macrostructure could be atoms, molecules, nano- or meso-scaled skeletons with varied shapes, chemical compositions, and functionality. Altered fields utilize these supramolecular hybrids, including biological sensing, optoelectronics, environmental processes, and energy production. We will discuss a detailed description of various self-assembled structures and the impact of selected preparation parameters on their performance. Short notes highlight the specific features of fabricated self-assemblies that contribute to their outstanding activity in various practical processes. This text will concentrate on the promoting behavior of these macromolecules in cancer chemotherapy, wastewater treatment, food safety, and CO₂ photoreduction.
