Original abstract
This research focuses on advanced building materials and system as a way of minimizing the effect of building activities on the enviroment. Incorporating both recycled aggregates, bio-based composites and low impact concretes the analysis assesses how each increases sustainability. A method used in the research is a comparison of passive concepts, which involves using passive solar systems, high-efficiency insulation, and building envelopes for determining energy consumption. Both the outcomes suggest that recycled aggregates helped in saving about 15 percent of the total material cost and minimized the carbon footprint by twenty five percent. New biologic composites revealed the 30% raise of thermal conductivity, thus cutting down the expenses on heating and cooling by twenty percent. At Asphalt shingles option, low impact concrete showed an improvement of 10 percent in durability and 18 percent reduction in carbon emission. Applying such materials and methods shows case study examples that how they can considerably reduce energy consumption and lifecycle costs, which will benefit both the environment and the community’s economy. The findings of this research thus call for people to embrace the use of sustainable construction and insist on the improvement of construction and building material technologies with the goal of making the construction industry sustainable.
